Aluminium Profiles

Anodised Aluminium Finishes

Silver, champagne, bronze, matte black, brushed gold and rose gold.

Anodising is a controlled electrochemical process that creates a hard, sealed colour layer on aluminium. Unlike paint, the colour is part of the metal — it cannot peel, chip or fade indoors. Ryan's stocks five anodised finishes from inventory plus brushed gold and rose gold on 2-3 week reorder. Use this guide to match the right finish to your project's palette.

About this profile type

Silver (#C0C0C0)

Natural anodised — the most popular finish. Pairs with any colour palette; the safe default for first-time buyers.

Champagne (#D4B98C)

Warm pale gold tone. Reads as 'soft brass' from a distance — excellent with cream, beige and warm woods.

Bronze (#7B5E3C)

Deep warm brown-gold. Pairs with dark woods, terracotta and warm earth tones — classic Syrian interior look.

Matte Black (#1A1A1A)

Modern hard finish. The choice for industrial-modern, minimalist and contrast-detail projects.

Brushed Gold (#B8860B)

Premium finish — visible brush texture catches light dramatically. Great accent for luxury bathrooms and feature walls.

Rose Gold (#B76E79)

Pink-gold for contemporary residential. Trending colour 2024-2026; pairs with pink marble and pale woods.

Frequently asked questions

Will the anodised colour fade over time?

Indoors, no — anodised colour is rated for 10+ years against fade by the manufacturer and typically lasts the life of the building. Outdoors with direct sun, bronze and gold tones may lighten very slightly after 5-7 years. Silver and matte black are stable outdoors indefinitely.

Can I match anodised aluminium to a paint colour?

Approximately, yes. Bring a paint sample to the showroom and we'll match it to the closest stocked anodised finish. Exact-match custom anodising is possible on bulk orders (1000m+ minimum) with 6-week lead time.

Does the finish look the same indoors and outdoors?

Anodised aluminium reads slightly differently under direct sun vs. interior lighting — brushed and matte finishes show texture more clearly outdoors, while mirror-polished anodised silver looks brighter indoors. Bring samples to your project before final selection.

What's the difference between anodised and 'painted' aluminium?

Anodised colour is electrochemically bonded into the metal — it cannot chip or peel. Painted aluminium has colour sitting on top of the metal — it chips easily. We only stock anodised. Painted profiles from competitors typically fail within 2-3 years of installation.
